Wellbeing Wednesday

We've been getting lots of positive feedback on our Wellbeing Exchange Event that took place on 4th September in Dean Castle Country Park.

Thanks to everyone who attended the event we hope you had a fantastic time and found an activity that enhanced your wellbeing.

There was something to appeal to every taste on the day, from outdoor yoga, mindfulness and reflexology to origami and relaxing art sessions in the walled garden. There were also some more strenuous pursuits like the climbing wall and boxercise. The courtyard archery sessions proved popular as did the tours of our very own Dean Castle, the weather was kind to us so the tours were able to include access to the battlements! Mental health information and guidance was available from our chosen charity SAMH and many of us took advantage of the physical health checks which provided valuable information on heart rate, BMI and much more. A selection of sandwiches, cakes and hot/cold drinks was available for staff to refuel between activities.

Look closely and you might spot yourself below... and lookout for the September Staff Newsletter where you can see some more photos from the day.
