You Asked, We Listened, We Planned

During recent ‘Meet the Teams’ sessions we had the opportunity to meet up with many of you and listen to your operational concerns. Over the coming months, and in line with the Organisational Review, we will be implementing a series of changes and projects, for example:

You asked for a review of opening hours…..

The Sharing Our Vision team are currently pulling together a timetable for community consultations and online questionnaires. Using the Leisure Facility Strategy as a basis, consultations will initially focus on opening hours and provision of services within museums, libraries and cultural hubs.

Gym equipment….

You highlighted that poor condition of equipment was having a detrimental effect on gym attendance and class provision, so the Senior Management Team recently pulled together a package of investment for equipment which was approved by Executive Management and will be in place soon.

You asked us to increase staff awareness of protocols & operating procedures….

All of our Protocols are updated regularly and following our Organisation Learning process we make additions and/or changes to reflect requirements. We then highlight any changes with direct links to them in the quarterly staff newsletter
