Local Place Plan

East Ayrshire Leisure’s Communities Team, in partnership with East Ayrshire Councils Planning colleagues and supported by The Improvement Service, recently launched our approach to helping communities design and adopt local place plans.

The two launch events, which were well attended by Community Councillors and elected members alike, communicated the importance of our communities’ voice in the Planning process. We are working to ensure a wide range of opinions are recognised and included in the next Planning Strategy (LDP3).
