Inductions

When you first join us at East Ayrshire Leisure you will be given a Corporate Induction which will tell you all you need to know about the organisation. You will be introduced to our guiding principles and to key members of staff. You will be given a brief introduction to all service areas, and what we deliver, the venues we operate from and the opportunities available to you as a team member.

The Training & Development Officer will take the opportunity to highlight the support available for your role and also the responsibilities and accountability of all staff. The following documents will be discussed and it is important that you read them to ensure that you understand the content;

Once in post, your line manager or fellow team member will give you a workplace induction to make sure you are familiar with all aspects of the building where you will be based and any other relevant information you will need. A workplace induction should be carried out at every venue you will be based at. If you have any queries, please do not hesitate to ask your line manager or the Training & Development Officer.

You will also be given an ID badge and lanyard which you must wear at all times when you are at work.
