Volunteers

Our volunteers take part in a wide range of projects here at East Ayrshire Leisure and we are constantly working to develop our Volunteering Programme to provide new opportunities.

Information on the Trust's current Volunteering schemes can be found on our website: here

If your service area could benefit from volunteering, please use the documents below to begin the process of adding volunteers to your team.

Employees  can also consider taking up volunteering. There are many organisations that would benefit from your skills and experience. As described in the Special Leave Policy; if you wish to volunteer with a community or voluntary organisation based within East Ayrshire, or a national voluntary organisation delivering services within East Ayrshire, leave with pay will be granted for 1 day (in any leave year). You should discuss your volunteering leave with your line manager before applying for Leave in the usual way on HR21.

Fitness Membership - the Trust recognises the added value that volunteers bring to our organisation and the communities we serve.  To recognise their value, volunteers are entitled to a discounted fitness membership in line with the Active Corporate rate (currently £18/month).  To apply for a fitness membership, please email EALvolunteering@Eastayrshireleisure.com
